:o You were very fortunate to find that button with the loop still there! That is awesome! :icon_thumright: And the coins are icing on that yummy cake! :icon_pirat: GREAT hunting, K!

Nana :)

sweet old site you've got there.
high quality all the way!

A NC button is on my wish list big time.

Keith, I hope you appreciate how rare it is to find that button with an intact shank. They were issued in mass to CSA Soldiers around Atlanta and remarkably there were few if any NC Soldiers stationed there at that time. Nice coins too. NC button is definitely on my wish list (Hint to Nana). HH, Quindy.

What a great find!!! That button is outstanding, congrats :icon_thumright:

WhooWhee !
That's a nice button, amazing that shank survived :hello2:
Nice Georgies and outstanding Musket Plate. Super Digs

Nice digs Keith! Congrats on the NC with the nice stand-up shank

Can you post a close up of the KG III on the left? The bust on that one looks a little odd to me, but it might be corrosion that is giving it that "different" look :o

Keith,

I realized it was a water find by the color. What I am talking about is this area of the bust. There is usually a smooth arc where the bust is truncated at the shoulder. This one you found is different, maybe an odd counterfeit?

Congrats on the KG coins too, but that button has me drooling. :tongue3:
