NE OKla. scrapers

Two scrapers that Buckshot found. The dark one is such a dark brown it looked black at first and is translucent..rootbeer flint? in northern Oklahoma? and it looks to have a graver,,,?

the second one is nice also, we were wondering it the material is reed springs. I's almost flat on both sides and an even thickness, To me, the two are pretty similar in make. This is a new spot for us, and the first we've found, so we have no idea of the age, archaic? They are both very water-worn

I can't see your pictures Lisa.....must be a glitch in the system? All I see are little symbols and when I click on them the picture never loads.

It took all day to get them to at least show this much! I'll try again later...Charmin, did your Grandfather or yourself find any root beer flint? That eccentric on your facebook page looks like it might be this same material,

I can't seem to post a picture either---I was gonna show you a piece I had that looked like root-beer flint. I tried to upload it and got an "!" symbol. I think something must be wrong with the image up-loader on TNet?

This is a screen shot of what it looks like when I try to upload---I used an image hosting site to get this picture---I'm not even sure if this is going to work! My web browser is Google Chrome---maybe something is wrong with that? What web browser do you use, Lisa?
