Near leavenworth ks

Got out with my son and brother (hibob) on Sunday. Digging what we were told was a military trail north of Ft. Leavenworth Ks. Hunted it pretty hard on trail and old stone foundation near it. Lots of iron and not one coin or button. Highlights of the day were pocket watch insides that I dated 1903 and a cast iron stirrup that I need some help with

I just found one like that (similar) I put up a post on "cleaning and preservation" forum few weeks back, it was started by TN mountain called "Electrolysis VS. Apple cider Vinegar Vs. Vinegar" Works great.

Nice finds, I love it when I can put a date on anything I find.
