After nine years in the hobby, this year I really buckled down and am hunting consistently, almost every day. My persistance has paid off, yesterday I dug my first ever Barber dime. Liberty is visible in the headband too. It was a thrill that far exceeded what I thought it would be. Later, a few yards from the Barber, I found a nice gold cigar band-type ring. Damn I love this hobby.
