Need a little help - foreign silver?

Hey all - Hope things are going well for everybody!

I pulled this coin out of a roll of dimes the other day. From what I've been able to find out - it looks like a Iran 1 Rial. I'm trying to decipher the date to see if it is silver or not. On a site called Coinquest I was able to to guess the date is arabic 1328?? Which is actually 1949 from what I understand. I could be way off, that's why I'm posting.

It sounds like silver and has a all silver rim. When I pulled it from the roll it looked like a sliver Roosie/Merc based on the rim.

looks like an egytian coin the date 1328 isn't an actual date it has to do with who was in power at the time.
