Need advice on good handheld for md-ing

Hello all.
I am looking for a good handheld gps that I could input lat and long into, download maps onto, catalog finds, and define boundaries where I am not allowed to hunt. Any help would be most appreciated. HH.

I use a Magellan Triton 400. It is pretty good and you can find them used on eBay & Craigs List for under $100. The only thing I don't like is that the backlight goes off after 30 seconds and it is difficult to use while driving off road for this reason. It is also a battery hog, so use rechargeables.

for around the same price you can get a used Garmin etrex. The screen is easier to read on the base model, but you need to move up a level for the maps.

These are much more accurate than the apps on iphones.
