Ok, so I was out in a field that has been worked since the 1600s metal detecting, and I came across this. It is possibley a button or cufflink but I'm not sure. The eagle on it looks just like the eagle on a 2.5 dollar gold coin. I did do a small scratch test and it is .925 silver ( I know it has odd corrosion. Most of the coins and relics have an odd patinaon them). It is extremely thin reminds me of a 1 reale. The eagle also resembles a civil war button. Any help identifying this would be a huge help. I've tried quite a few places and have gotten no where.

I'm not able to match it up exactly as I would like but perhaps it is something like this Kettle token. They are said to have been issued in silver or silver plate. You may be able to compare it better.
