Hi all .. after 13 years keeping this coin my wife gave it to me.. now i need help finding some info on it.. Maybe a Value...

It is a Meier & Frank TEN DOLLARS Coin.

The Writing on it is

Side 1. "SERVING THE NORTHWEST SIENCE 1857 MEIER & FRANK TEN DOLLARS"
Side 2. "CELEBRATING THE OREGON TRAIL 1843-1993"
on the rim it have a Number "00421"

Any info you have can help me.

I believe it was a commemorative coin that was issued in limited # celebrating the 150 years of the Oregon Trail and their store of 136 years.

Yes,they also had a coin shop in the department store that closed about 10 years ago.So I would assume that this came from there.
