Just joined the site lately and need some help on these photos. What I am looking for is a civcil war calvery site that has never been found. The info I have gotten I do not know if it was correct or not but have nothing to lose. Also if you find anything else interesting it would just be a plus.Let me say that I am not a disbeliever in dowsing,I have a set of L-Rods I made to play with and they work great but have not taken the time to advance my use to maps but will in the future. Thanks for any help that you give in advance if you see fit. Thanks Art will have to let the crops get harvested and cool off enough for the snakes to lay down and stay still. Will advise you as I check it out in a pm. Zebco

My first map dowse for someone else so dont hold me to it, im getting some flour gold readings in those bends of that creek

Thanks bman that is a river and may check that out this coming summer.Rite now have gotten the detector bug again(been 15 years).Anyone else like to dowse would be helpful. The camp may not be in these parcels and I could post some more but dont want to be overbearing in asking for help. All help on these is greatly appreciated but cant give any followup till after hunting season. Thanks Zebco

Zebco. There are a few others here I highly trust heck they taught me. Just keep the post up to date.

The 1st hit I got looks to be the same as Art's big camp. Might just move on, you guys seem to be doing just great!

bman3725, I'm getting some kind of civil war signals in the top area you marked.

Yeah Red I think you are right I went back over it just now and im getting that too, even on one of the other photos

I was picking up some gold signal there too, especially off the right side.

Thanks guys, the big site is a known camp havent had time to look at the hits in the area of the river yet.If it would be ok I will post some other pics that join the pics I posted first, dont want to wear out my welcome. Thanks Zebco

Thanks Red makes me feel good that im doing better at my dowsing. I was getting mixed signals in that area from the start. I see I was hitting 2 different things now any tip on how I can better pinpoint

I would mark the spot, each time you get a new signal in that area of mixed targets. Once everything is marked, check each hit for only one type of target signal at a time. In checking again, you might get some more locations or exact pinpoints.

Ok guys, have checked out a small portion of your hits,no luck yet on the second dowsing but only a small area covered.Havent checked on Arts yet waiting for permission and closing of deer season.Maybe a Sunday hunt soon. Zebco

Just so I don't miss anything, marked all types of archaeological signals, the green Xs/circles. Red circles for loose coins/treasure or valuable artifacts surface down to 2-3 ft deep.
