Hi and thank you in advance for helping. I am hoping someone on the forum may be able to help identify or have any information on this toy. It is a doll in a horse/mule-drawn buggy. It is mechanical and is supposed to move when wound. It is not to large as well. I am just trying to see if anyone can share their thoughts on it. Age, who may have made it, and where. I see no markings. Any help is appreciated.

Looks like a burro doing the cart-pulling (note its smallness in relation to the size of the human figure)... which makes Mexican origin the most likely probability.

I think it can't be more than about 40 years old at the most, because it looks like Boy George is the cart rider.

That's a valuable find, it seems. This one "realized" $1000 at auction. Circa 1880. Very cool. When key-wound, the donkey pulls the cart and nods it's head.

Yours looks like a variation of this one.
