Need help identifying button

I found these 2 buttons recently, but neither of the 2 have a back to them which is making it hard for me to find a date they are from. Just figured someone on here has seen or dug one before. Thanks for reading and hope we can figure them out!

The eagle button is a Staff Officer's button. Can't date it without the backmark though. The Star piece is a bridle rosette I believe. I found one very similar in West Texas a few years back.

Not the same. The OPs star piece has a raised rim. Alberts TX19 doesn't have the raised rim. It would help to know the diameter of this star piece.
