🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Need help identifying - Clackamas River find

Hi,

I found this yesterday while river walking the Clackamas River in Oregon. I think it’s most likely petrified wood, it just looks different than the pieces I’ve found in the past.

Any idea on what it could be?

Petrified wood polishes nicely. It makes nice art objects. Here’s an acorn I carved from pet wood.

This is a piece of pet wood I found.

I made a cut on the bottom so it would sit flat on a table. Then I polished just one side.
