Need Help Identifying Items Found Near Sebastian Florida

Recently found in dense black sand. Between Golden Sands and Ambersand Beach. Sebastion Florida area. Not magnetic. I’m a rookie. Can anyone tell me what these items might be? They were near 18th century nails.

Looks like you found them very close to the 1715 Fleet Shipwrecks.

If they came out looking like that you might get it tested to see if it is melted gold. Due to the proximity of your finds to the 1715 fleet disaster, you might consider posting this in the Shipwrecks forum. I recall reading in Potter's "The Treasure Diver's Guide" how research had indicated that at least on one wreck shortly after the disaster that early salvors set one of the wrecks on fire in an attempt to access the hold. Over the centuries artifacts have made their way onto the beach.

Wow, interesting! North of you and a little south of Cape Canaveral I have found melted aluminum..not the can kind ...small blobs of it supposedly "space poop"...melted pieces from shuttles. Your irregular pieces have the shape but not the color. You might have something there!!😉

The gold exceeded 14 karats.The items will be scanned using pXRF gun in early July. This should give the purity and trace elements to match the shipwreck.
