Hey everyone!

Man it was HOT today! But despite the temperature, I decided to go ahead and hunt for 15-20 minutes in my backyard. This was my first signal. It read like a pulltab/nickel so I decided to dig it. About 2-3 " down out pop's this little pin. :help: It's about 1-1/2" long, and both of the pins are intact and one of the backs remain. There are no markings on it except for "G 1" on the back. There is also a litle bit of remaining red, white, and blue thread. If anyone has any idea on what this pin is, please let me know! HH and God Bless!

It's a military ribbon backing.

Do you have any idea what kind of ribbon or medal it's for?

They are universal in size to accomodate all military ribbon awards. The red white thread remnants could be a "Good Conduct Ribbon" award.

Thanks! That's pretty cool! Thanks again!

Your welcome, military award ribbons come in many, many color combinations. Cool find tho.
