I am just an amateur but me and my 4 year old son are having a blast going out after it rains and finding these points barely sticking up from the dirt. Also my yard has large stones of Quartz and a spring fed creek.

Thanks for the help. Here are some different ones we found last week after it rained. There is a steep slope in my back yard going down to the creek with a lot of erosion. Also some appear to be zoomorphic.

Here's 2 pictures, most were found by me in South West Georgia (some in South East Alabama and Central Florida). Posting these just for examples.

I agree with Mikes assessment on your posted pictures. What about that Crystalline Clovis you have as your avatar? Tell us about it? Anyway I know there are real artifacts in your area, keep on looking and never give up!

I have a few more pics of what I believe is a type of tool that we found down by my creek. Maybe a chopper? I would like to get some feedback on it. Thanks again!

I don’t need any help with the Clovis in my avatar. I am not trolling just trying to bounce ideas. Some of the points/ tools that I posted are painted quartz, I guess they used the grey clay from the creek and mixed it with ash or pigments. I’ll upload a few more pictures, one piece sure looks like a mammoth and it’s painted so it can’t be natural. The other appears to be a blade that’s painted and still razor sharp. I just thought y’all would find it interesting.

Hey, I’m new to this site and I need some help identifying some points that me and my son are finding in my backyard in Athens Georgia. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Welcome JakeW_82! Really liking your finds and pics! You and Junior keep up the hunt and never give up! Your Paw Paw would be mighty proud!

Nice! Can you please share a pic from another angle of the painted razor sharp blade?
