Need Help Identifying These Mystery Medals

Hi there. Can anyone identify these medals. The gold medal has the dates 1826-1926 and what looks like Russian writing. The other medal I am guessing is a WW2 medal from one of the Communist countries. Thanks for the help. IMG_9076[1].JPG IMG_9077[1].JPG

This might help.The red star is one of the Order of the red star Medals (Russian) but can't find a match.The small star is the key to which Medal it is.Hope this helps

I was thinking that as well. But china and Vietnam also use the red star
