I need help trying to identify this button. It is brass and was dug on my property in Orangeburg SC. The property has a farmhouse from 1910. The front left of the property has had, from what I have been told, a saw mill, cotton gin, and some type of store at that location at one point. The button is thin and has a flag with an anchor on it. My eight year old son does most of the detecting and has pulled lots of iron and brass objects from this area. We tried everywhere we could to identify it, but had no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It looks like a button that would have been worn on the uniform of a shipping company.
