Can someone identify the type of stone this little owl statue is made of? I'm guessing it's glass or something but not sure. Any input would be appreciated

How'd you come by that? Is it a field find or did you get it some other way? Has the texture of how sea-glass ends up looking by being washed in the waves on a sandy beach. Maybe a fancy glass bottle top is a possibility :dontknow:. Heck maybe every ancient Roman glass it might be.??

Imperial Jade?

Does the bottom of it look like it’s been broken off of something? Looks like glass. Could be off a old perfume bottle top or candy dish.

Very nice delicate looking piece.
What else can you tell about finding it?

Oh, and Welcome to TNet! :hello:

I don't think it's from a beach. While it's smooth for the most part, there are some intricate details still visible on it. They would have been washed out by waves had it been picked up off some shore.

Could you put up brighter photos of it? Can it stand in it's own like a small trinket?
