Need help ID'ing Bullets I found today

Hi Guys,

I need help identifying two types of bullets please see the attached images. The big one looks to be 7/16 inch cal. The other is 5/16 inc cal. Just eyeball, did not use a caliper to get those measures.

Thanks much guys!

Your first bullet is a copper-jacketed .45-caliber ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) bullet... manufactured continuously from 1911 through the present. I should mention, also used in the .45 Thompson Submachine Gun ("Tommy Gun").

Second bullet is a .38-caliber "semi-wadcutter" bullet, manufactured from the mid-1900s through the present. Wadcutter bullets are primarily made for target shooting, because the bullet's wide flat top punches a clearly visible neatly round hole in the paper (or wooden) target.

Excellent, thanks for the quick note CB Guy!
