Need help ID'ing military buttons / the patches should help

I was at the landfill and found 2 old black military coats. The coats were rotting and falling apart. They had also been run over by the bulldozer so I salvaged the buttons and patches. Would like to try and sell them on ebay and a proper item name would help. An eagle with an anchor in left claw, what looks like 3 cannon balls under anchor and a cannon? held in right claw. There is a backmark on top of the shank which reads: W CO'S. Thanks in advance for any information.

Thet're both modern US Navy rank, the one on the right is petty officer third class, torpedoman's mate, so a submariner, the other is Seaman, also torpedoman's mate. The buttons are both from a dress uniform.

The buttons are US Navy. Im pretty sure thats a Waterbury mark. I think its one of the military contract hopper button types. Its modern era post 1960 is what I remember. I think Waterbury Co. changed to Cos about that time.

I couldn't say how old they are, hopefully someone else might be able to fill that blank. I'm leaning toward post ww2 though.

Waterbury Cos. backmark was used starting in 1965.
