Need help on choosing a new detector for casche hunting

I am in the market for something that really works, what is the difference between a ground box like a briefcase style detector vs a 2 box detector or is there even something better. I am looking at treasure casches that are deeper than ordinary coins and basic day to day finds.

That statement of "Day to Day finds," rules out using a cache detectors as they are only made to respond to larger metal targets. I have used the Garrett Two box and found it easy to use.

For the money, the GTi 2500 and the two box adapter has received the most favorable writeups I have seen. Monty
