Need Help On River Conditions

I will be on the Merced near El Portal next week and possibly on the south fork of the Stanislaus near the LDMA camp at Italian Bar....Anyone know how high/fast these rivers currently are? Trying to decide which equipment to take....

Merced is dropping fast but it still is a big river. What are your choices for equipment?Might help a little. I know the river is uder 700cfs at briceburg but the real time data for the water shed is down right now for service.

Trying to decide wether or not to bring my four inch dredge...I will be taking all of my metal detectors, crevicing tools, mac vac, sluices, and panning stuff. The dredge needs some work so if the rivers are still very high/fast I would hold off until August to start dredging...
