I found another large copper in the same area that I found the large cents. I need help with IDing it. The size is 1 1/16 inches and weighs 5 grams. It is well worn and I can only make out a few things on it. It looks like a crown and RN. I drew a picture because the details did not come through on the photo. I also found about 50 coins in clad.

Anytime you can excavate a Colonial coppa, it is considered a GREAT day! Keep hitting that spot, fellow PA metal datecting enthusiast!

Iron Patch, your coppa ID skills are :-*-worthy! :D

Iron patch,
Many thanks. That is exactly what it is Irish Hibernia Halfpenny. I just could not make out enough to try to ID it. The spot is paying off big in old coppers. Just wish they were in a little better shape. Maybe the next one will be a VF.

Hit the same area again today and pulled two more large cents. 1 was a 1821 key date only 389,000 made. Give or take $150 coin. That is pretty cool.
