Need help with age of a couple of pins!

Doing some winter maintenance and came across a couple of finds from years ago.

The first looks older, and is missing all of its stones. Any idea on possible age?

The second looks to also be an old pin... could it also have been some kind of hair clip due to its size? It looks to be brass. Any idea on age?

Second one is a hair clip barrette; not sure of the age though.

This should be what your first one looked like new (different makers vary some in the design). Can't say what year they came along but born in the 50's I remember using this type i'm sure through the 70's.
