Need help with bullet ID please

bullet 3.jpg I recently found this small bullet with my White's MXT. I'm no expert on bullets at all. As you can see in the pic its a tad bit larger than the .22 caliber. It has a flat bottom and 3 rings.. I'm thinking it could be a .30 caliber 3 ringer from a pistol. I'd greatly appreciate any info . Thanks8-)

The three rings are lube rings.

I'd guess maybe early 20th century. Hard to say though since the technology hasn't changed much for a long time.
