It might be good to go practice around a natural cave or coal mine shafts, if you have any close. Try picking these up while far enough away.

ok i can do that there is an old coal mine across the hill from them spots you marked i dont thank it came over that way but it might have they had to close it down cause of the soft sand stone thats in the area had to many cave ins and there is another one to the right of the places you marked and across the field theres a deep holler there it belonged to an old farmer he dug his house coal there back in the early 1900's its also caved in now

Yes, old mine shafts, tunnels/caves, all are big signals, if you can follow them for practice, smaller man made ones should be easier then to locate.

ok thanks red i'll practice up im gonna make me a set of copper rods and try them out and see if they work any better

is there any way to save google map pics? google earth wont work on my computer

Open paint, get map on screen, then press prt scr on keyboard, on my computer is on top row right side. Paste into paint, crop, save in jpg file format.
