Couldn't find this in Rice. Has PEG and Shield on front. Can't see any marks on back. Dime size. IMAG0283.webp Thanks.
 
Are you sure the "P" is not really an "R?" That would make more sense because it would stand for some Regiment. It is hard to tell from the photo.

Yes it is a R, War of 1812 Regiment Infantry Button.
