NEED HELP WITH SMALL COPPER ID!!

The first was dug yesterday(right facing bust)..can't seem to find one like it ..the second was dug today,
Anyone know what the first one is?

The second coin is a 1734 George II halfpenny, but that is not the coin in question, the first one is. The first one is the Roman coin.

My buddy who actually dug this is scared to touch it..lolol.. I told him if it's copper, its a worthless crumbly piece of copper, and if it's ruined big deal .. but to be gentle and find out it is silver it's a cool find ..so i guess he will just have a "thing" in his possession , that he will never even know what it is..🤷 and treat it with kids gloves ..

Numismatically its not a rare or expensive coin, if silver the worst it could do is shave off about $3 of value. The most it can do will get a full attribution. Size & weight would tell me if silver or not?
