can any one tell me anything about theese. the necklace i think is a sterling silver french victorian bow necklace dont know who made it or its value it only has sterling stamped on the chain and the ring is vintage sterling with what looks like a big v over a diamond shaped lozenge after the sterling stamp want to sell them but cant find any antique jewelry dealers to tell me their value
p.s. the stones in the necklace are citrine and the quarter shows how big they are

I believe that the mark which you describe is that of the Vargas Manufacturing Company of Providence, Rhode Island. This particular mark was reportedly introduced in 1947. Vargas is now a division of the Consolidated Jewelry Company.
