Need & Id

I found this the other day and just hoping to put a id with it. I know I have seen this somewhere before, but just can't place it.

it's 4 3/4 inches in length and hollow in one end up to the slot in the side. it doesn't have any markings.

Thanks for any help, NT

Re: Need & Id

My first thought was a dog whistle, have one somewhat similar, but cannot find it at this moment to compare.

The pointed thing on the end is just a little finished metal piece. it's not broken, it's made that way. I am not for sure about the slick neck but it's possible that it was a mounted pointed into something.

Is it made of brass?

That’s exactly what it is. The shape of the hole is diagnostic on these.
