I obtained a possibly rare Great Seal button backmark from a Denver eBayer. It says DENVER UNIFORM CO / DENVER, COLO. I believe it to be prior to WWI. This era seems to produce most of the rare types. It appears to be all brass; the back silver painted; cuff size.

I cannot find any information on this company. Can anybody help?

Great thanks. I wonder how long they stayed in business making buttons? 1907-?

I did a search on the Fold3.com site which says it has the Denver city directories indexed to 1923 and I only found hits for it in 1906, 1907 & 1908. Here is the listing from 1908-

It may not have much monetary value but it seems to be a very shortlived variety of the Great Seal button. I have not seen another in person or on the net. Good site. Ill save it. Thanks.

The old 1646-48 Glenarm Place factory was in the historic district of dowtown Denver.
