I found two of these rocks when I was arrowheading in a cornfield here in Vermont. I have never seen anything like them. They are light baby blue with a mix of dark blue and pitted with rust color deposits. They are glassy looking so at first I thought they were melted glass, but upon a closer look the are not glass and more rock like. Anyone come across this rock before?

that's interesting. have you tried one of those small light things to see what color or how dense it is?

My guess is that your initial impressions are correct. Appears glassy looking. It appears to have small holes or pits. This adds up to something man-made out of a furnace. I would go with slag.
