Found this piece while detecting my families property in Pennsylvania. It came up as 25 cents on my bounty hunter. It was about a foot in the ground. Any info would be awesome

Hi; I believe it is a large fish weight. They were also used as window or door pully weights ok. Good Luck. PEACE:RONB

Large fishing weight, that larger size would be for a fast large river or ocean fishing. Made to take your bait down and keep it there. Most are made of lead but could be cast with any metal.
