I dug this a few years ago. Always liked it. Reverse is hard to read, it says:
Nesbitt’s name on a Soft drink is like STERLING stamped on Silver. Bottled under license of Nesbitt’s Fruit Products Inc. Los Angeles, Calif. by NESBITT LICENSEE at location shown on skirt of cap. I remember this brand in out area, but never saw this bottle in a machine.

I've seen maybe 1 or 2 come out of excavations around eastern iowa. Might have been a early super market that carried it. we ran a bar in the sixties and never seen it then either.

I remember Nesbitt’s in the Conesville area: strawberry, orange, root beer, cream soda and maybe grape. The bottles I saw were clear with white painted script. The black seemed rare for my point in time.
 

I have found a few, but they aren't to common down here at the southern most point in the U.S.
