Those were popular starting in the 1930’s. Although at my local swap meet you can still have one engraved while you wait, they resemble the contemporary design. If I had to guess yours appears to be one from the 1940’s or 50’s era.

I remember there used to be ads in the back of magazines for the set up stuff to make those. It advertised 'make extra money' by setting up at flea markets and such. There was a guy at our local flea market that used to make them back in the 70's
