NEVER!!!!!!! take your Neighbor metal Detecting

Well being the nice guy that I am , my next door neighbor wanted me to take him MD N today . BIG MISTAKE.. he's only done it twice has no equipment, Got po ed first 10 minutes in because all he could find was bottle caps NEVER EVER AGAIN. I ended up detecting for about 30 min. Conditions were great ,,not ripple in the water not to mention Low tide . and this guy wants to go and get lunch. So I give in and start heading back to the car .. and that was the end of md for the day. I am so p,oed I could scream .. take it from me and a lesson learned. DO NOT TAKE YOUR NEIGHBOR METAL DETECTING EVER!!!!! GUZZ1

Brought my brother to the beach for his first hunt. Got out of the car walked a few feet and he hit a Presidential dollar coin, then a bunch of clad and then after a short time he got bored. He wanted to get diamond rings and jewelery. I was a newbie myself and I would have died for the dollar coin. I love my brother but perseverance is not something is his makeup. I have hunted with him since but he does not seem as nearly enthused about it as I am. I find a penny and I am excited.

LOL, I was out by my parents house. My little brother wanted to go with me to a park and try MD'ng. I said, lets just hit up the yard instead. I never hunted it yet, so I was curious to see what was there. My brother lasted like 15 min only finding nails, then he went inside to watch TV. I was so happy we didn't waist the gas. I finished up the back yard and found a war nickel and a few wheat's.

Hey good for treasure fiend. Thank God there's X boxs and sony play stations and flaT SCREEN tv's to keep the the little guys busy, so big brother can hunt in peace ,,wtg on the finds and savings on the gas :thumbsup:
