Hello all I've been mding for about 4 weeks now, I started out panning for gold this spring and being from ohio it took many many hours to get what I have pictured below. Now I live in a small town in ohio and the town history says that on my property in the 1800's was a bar and the towns ladies didn't like it much so they all got together with axes and chopped the place up lol there's a buzzkill. anyway I think I have found the spot because there are about 4 to 5 million square nails in a 20 yard area. so here are some of my keepers. happy mding

I can't believe you found all this on your own property!! It takes a poor slob like me YEARS to find great stuff like that -- I haven't even found a coin older than 1904. We all have to dig about 100 targets of trash before a good target is found, so I totally hear you about the nails. TNet is the right place for information and sharing your exciting finds.

Like to see the Ohio folks on here! That's a great haul so early in your young md career! You have to be hooked. Can you get a better pic of the ring? I love the look of that!

it is nice to just go out in the yard and hunt i have 2 1/2 acre's in town so that should keep me busy for awhile. moisture content of the ground seems to affect the way my detector reads plus I'm having multiple targets in the same hole the large cent had a hinge and some aluminum with it so not sure if i should dig every target or if theres something else i can do. Thanks for looking
