Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II
I just got my new Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II and it is Awesome. It registered a nickel as a nickel and a dime as a dime etc. The tones are unmistakable and you can definitely tell if it's trash as the tone is low, broken and just plain nasty. I was only in my front yard for an hour, not knowing what I was doing and got four clad. 1 Nickel, 1 dime and 2 pennies. I love this machine. :hello2:

Yes there's a scratch on the 1982 penny and I scorned my son accordingly. (Just kidding) We didn't have a good digging tool. Will have one today.

Congrats on your new toy! Your own yard will serve you well to learn the machine and hone your recovery methods. Enjoy!!

Thank you very much. I am going to do my whole yard then venture out. It decided to rain today. Getting bands from that storm in the gulf. Is there better hunting after a rain? ???

Rain is mostly a blessing. I always go out after a storm. As you sweep the coil, you'll be able to see where you've been easier. Your coil will knock off some of the water off the grass and you'll also see your tracks. I have noticed slightly better depth in wet ground and it's easier to dig. The downside is it's harder to hide any spots you've dug. You'll probably be able to see them, but come the next day you'll never know. Your detector will get good and dirty too. You will too, but it's a good bonding exercise for you and the machine. :laughing7:
