New cellar hole

Out for a few hours with a buddy. One and half 2 piece buttons, a pewter cuff button, a flat button and a drilled shank flat button plus a really nice war of 1812 artillery button and a 1817 large cent................ and a mouth harp

The LC is great, but that artillery button is real special in my book. Congrats on finding such a great place to detect.

So I posted a picture of the artillery button on my club’s Facebook page and one of the young fellers did a great job IDing my button. I didn’t even see the word “ Massachusetts “ on the top of the button, and I looked, with a magnifying glass..............several times. I’m blind, but I did get to make a new display (;
