NEW CELLAR HOLESCLIPPED HALF CENTSHOE BUCKLE

Got out with Gary (foundationhunter)and found 2 sites that we hadn't been to.somebody hit these places pretty good but left a few keepers.
a oval ornate shoe buckle frame & a broken one a front portion of a ball or zuave button,a nice old designed one piece button with no backmark,2 falt buttons one still has the fabric clung to it.that musta left a hole in the poor guys jacket ,1904 IH & a 1809 1/4 cent i'm counting this as a 1/2 copper.and another OXKNOB!
Gary dug a nice ornate shoe buckle with applied silver to the face of buckle.it's a beauty!he got 2 coppers as well a KG & a classic head 1812 lc.

You got all that and think it's been pounded? Finding just one KG would be a dream hunt for me.

And the last pic the top left relic i found a large gilted one..It has a square center :icon_scratch:

well this is 10 hrs of hunting at 2 sites so yeah it was pounded in my opinion

oxknobs were screwed onto the horn tips of oxen to minimize the damage to the owner if the ox decided to restless. the thing with the square hole in top left is iron.never dug one of these before.any ideas on what it was used for?

if ya drove you could of used them as a shifter knob on a standard! :laughing7:

i was thinking maybe seed a retired cellar hole with all my oxknobs before i die
