Looks like a great book. I may just have to pick up a copy of that one.
Anyone else notice Folsom wrote on the third piece down which is an obvious Cumberland? I think back then most Fluted pieces were called either a Folsom or a Yuma.
I am lucky enough to have handled/examined 3 of the 4 pictured. My favorite is the one that Steve mentions, b/c it is so obviously old, and shows amazing workmanship. The story on it is that it was locked away in a safe for 50+ years before it sold in 2007ish. Like Steve says, they called all fluted pieces back then "folsom". Pretty cool.
