New Detector Came In!!!!

Hi all,

I am a newbie to this hobby and thanks to a lot of you I decided to purchase an ACE 250. It came in today UPS. Just waiting around the house today for UPS to drop it off was the longest day ever... But well worth the wait! I watched the video and within minutes I was out in my yard with my headlamp finding everything and anything I could!

I had seen in some other post that the ACE 250 was hard to pinpoint targets. Well no problems here. I purchased a bulb planter from wal-mart and every target I dug, it was in the plug. Awesome little detector! Below is my first ever finds with a MD. I was out in the yard for about 20 minutes.

Congrats & Welcome! Try MD'g w/ in the first 4 feet from the street in your front lawn, I find that that is a prime area w/ less trash. Have fun - that's what it's all about!

Thanks all... I have hit the yard hard and did get lucky at finding a penny, 1997. My house sits in a new development and was built in 1994 so not too much goodies here. This weekend I will be MDing at my inlaws place. It was built in 1898 and should produce some great finds. Will post pictures of what I find. HH to all.

All I found in my front yard was tin foil, from the dogs and bears getting into the trash. So if your not finding any of that your doing good!
