LOOKING FOR A NEW DETECTOR I HAVE A DR.OTEC AND HAVE MANY GOOD FINDS WOULD LIKE TO GET A MINELAB X - TERRA ELITE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Whatever you buy, learn how to use it and understand it and you will do good. The best machine made is only as good as the operator. My only suggestion is buy from a reputable manufacturer and reputable vendor. They will be there for you if you have any issues.
