New Excalibur 2 First Hunt

Ok.... So I spent some time researching my next metal detector I decided that I wanted to primarily focus on beach and water hunting, so I bought the Excalibur. I assembled it and could not wait to get out hunting so I went to the beach volleyball court in my neighborhood. I hunted for only a half hour but WOW! I was truly surprised by the ease and depth of this machine. I found two gold earrings with diamonds ( I don't think they are real ) two pennies and some type of metal top and a bullet. Right across from a school. Scary! Anyway that was my first hunt. When the weather gets better I am headed down to Clearwater beach and go for rings in the water!

have found loaded cartridges, bullets including 50 cal at schools. you never know what you will find anywhere

Congrats on the new machine. We hunt in the hood, schools, parks, tear downs... and find modern bullets and brass all of the time. The lower you go on the socio-economic scale, the more you find. GL&HH!

Neat finds! The ExCal-II is the best for the beaches, the tone-ID is really accurate.

Nice finds. I love my Excal II and use it everyday. It is really great for the beach. I waiting for the waves to calm down a bit here on the Treasure Coast. I cant wait to get into the water.
