Got out this morning and noticed that on the edge of a field I have hunted for 12 years the town had dug a new ditch. We'll the corner of the field was the town square and dates back to 1794 so I had to stop and hunt the ditch. I found a Victorian area pin with a blue cut glad stone still in it and a awesome early 1800's flat button that has a ton of silver plate still on it. We'll I got home and cleaned the back of the button and what an awesome back mark. There is an eagle on top and a wreath with an S below the shank. Above the eagle it says treble plated I have dug 100's of buttons and never seen this one before and can't find a match. Check it out and any help on the button with be great.

I've seen a couple with the eagle on the back before but never that variation. That's interesting.

It's the most detailed back of a button I have ever found that's for sure
