Got out today to a new field I got permission for. Walked only a few rows due to lack of time. But did get a nice point. Saw a lot of pottery so gonna try the metal detector there to. Thanks for looking.

It is a nice stemmed point...What makes you think Mississippian rock?
That style was very common in the middle archaic

Well its kind of dirty but the flaking doesn't look correct for Archaic maybe late Woodland. It is a tad bigger than I thought.

Looks Archaic to me, probably Middle Archaic.
