New finds in Fort Ord

I'm crazy to keep returning. But it's right by my house. New construction going on and their new road dug down several layers. I'm staying out of the trails. You can go 12" without a signal. 12-45 range consistently on my E-trac which should be coins. But it's ALWAYS brass. You'd think they were shooting every 12" everywhere.

At least I found a 1940 wheatie. The other two items...no idea. The first item looks bent. But I don't see holes for attaching it to anything. The two prongs are pointed on the ends...too pointed for a coat rack.

Item two is broken. In cursive I see the word - reliable. The notches have no markings like for measuring.

I think the second item has to do with electrical wire/cable..
