Today was just a great day. No gold coins or CS buckles but the weather was awesome and we were hunting in a history rich area and everybody found something. My personal goal is one minnie per hunt and I have been lucky on the last few hunts to do that. Papa Bear did the leg work and secured permission for the fields 
and as we were hunting another land owner showed up and gave us permission for his land as well. Yes like PB said it was like angels singing.
It is always good to save a little history .We also met and hunted with some local relic hunters also,it was a blast. I dug enough can slaw to build a jon boat but also found a bullet ,two non CW buttons and some other bits . The only coin for me was a 191? wheaty. Looking foward to the next run.
