Hi! I'm retired Air Force, currently an engineering lab tech/supervisor, and am always looking for things that incorporate my love for the outdoors, history, adventure, and exploring without overtaxing a half-century old body. I've been geocaching for awhile now but it's become somewhat played. Being in a region so rich in colonial, Native American, and Civil War history practically screams for getting into treasure and relic hunting! I haven't gotten a detector yet, but after reading a lot lurking here and review sites I'm strongly leaning toward a Minelab X-Terra 705. TIA for any input on this topic
