NEW Gold Cube trays LEAKING

So, I bought 2 new trays and dream mats for the Gold Cube, replacing 2 originals that have the conveyor belt mats.
Got the dream mats installed with the hold down metal strips.
Placed the trays on the cube and ran a quick test.
These new trays are leaking from the trap side face.
They are LARGER than the original trays. The original trays fit snug into one another, but are sloppy when stacked with the new ones.
Approximately 1/8" play all the way around.

Anyone have a solution to stop the leaks?

If it were me I'd email Mike Pung and ask him ! He and Red designed and built the original and then sent out for being made in a production set up ! OR just glue 1/16 shims to the tray's outer edge to tighten up the fit and also to help stop the overflow / splashing.

I ran a small bead of clear silicone along both mating trap edges on both trays (new/old) ... waiting for the silicone to cure ... we'll see

welp, the silicone didn't stop the leaks ...

There's your solution. It was designed to work a certain way,
and if it don't I'd call/email the manufacturer and find out why.

I bought a 4 stack cube set-up many years back, and it's always
done an outstanding job.

Imo you destroyed your Cube. It is meant to be used only with the Vortex matting it came with. It's not meant to have interchangeable mats sooo not surprised it leaks. Doubt Mike is going to be of any help to you

I bought two (2) new BLANK trays along with a set of dream mats to install.

I still have the ORIGINALS in their ORIGINAL state.

The NEW trays are LARGER than the originals.
